PEACE PARK
Blackhawk Farms is a 1.95 mile, 7 turn private circuit racetrack located in South Beloit, Illinois on 216
acres. The track is on the border between Wisconsin and Illinois, within 90 miles of 2 major metropolitan
areas – Chicago and Milwaukee – and minutes from Interstate 39/90.
Blackhawk Farms is a spectator friendly racetrack with many amenities. The track is a registered camp site
with the Department of Natural Resources. There is no fee to camp overnight.
TALLAGEDA GRAN PRIX
Talladega Gran Prix Raceway (TGPR) was built in the fall of 1985 by two brothers, David and Mike Upchurch,
as well as a third partner, Gerald Rhodes. The track was built at the site of an old cattle farm. David had
been road racing in the area with several friends for awhile and became frustrated with the travel and
expense of getting track time. So, the search was on to find an alternative. It started with the idea of
just building a practice track and this led to a larger parcel of land which prompted.
BLACKHAWK FARM
The GingerMan Raceway was established in 1995 by racing enthusiast Daniel Schnitta. Dan knew what was
important to him as a driver when visiting a race track. His vision is to share that experience with
visitors and their families.
The GingerMan is located in the appealing lakeshore town of South Haven, Michigan. Rather than spending your
trip to the track in isolation visitors are just six miles away from the beach.
